177 new cases forces Sabah’s Nabawan into MCO

The Nabawan district in Sabah will be placed under the movement control order (MCO) until March 16 after the detection of 177 Covid-19 cases in 15 villages.

Following a risk assessment, the Health Ministry said the restrictions are to help contain infections from spreading further into the community.

Meanwhile, the enhanced MCO (EMCO) will start for Felda Jengka 1, 2 and 7, and Felda Ulu Jempol in Maran, Pahang, from March 2 to 15.

On the other hand, the EMCO will end for several localities across the country.

They are:

– Sg Udang Prison and staff quarters, Melaka (ends tomorrow);

– Kg Sg Maong in Kuching, Sarawak (ends tomorrow); and

– Taman Univista in Kota Samarahan, Sarawak (ends tomorrow) – The Vibes
