Route Map for Sandakan Run For Peace 2019
SANDAKAN: Participants of Sunday’s “Run for Peace” have been advised to assemble at the Sandakan Town Padang at 5.00 am for the flagging off of the 9KM Run.
The event is organised by Soka Gakkai Malaysia (SGM) Sandakan in conjunction with the “Month of Peace” commemoration.= Run for Peace has gathered more than 115,000 participants throughout 28 locations nationwide.
Guest of Honour Sabah Health and People’s Wellbeing Minister Datuk Frankie Poon will officiate this year’s Sandakan Run for Peace at the Sandakan Town Padang.
Run for peace is not a competitive event, it is an event to promote education and inspire people to understand the importance of creating culture of peace in the community where SGI President Ikeda Sensei once quoted “A great human revolution in just a single individual will help achieve a change in the destiny of a nation, and, further, will enable a change in the destiny of all humankind.”
