KOTA KINABALU: MASwings, Your Airlines for the people of Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan FT blast-off its anniversary celebration by offering ‘12th years Anniversary promotion’ to selected Domestic Destination with RM178 all-in fares.
The on-going promotion will end by 31 October for travel up to 30 November 2019.
MASwings was first launched on 1st October 2007 and started with only four (04) 50-seater Fokker 50 and four (04) 19-seater twin otter aircrafts to cover 22 destinations.
Today, after 12 years after its inception, MASwings proudly operates 10 ATR72-500 and six Viking aircrafts and serving 24 destinations including 13 STOLports and 2 International – Tarakan, Indonesia and Bandar Seri Begawan on codeshare.
In conjunction with the whole month 12th Anniversary celebration and in appreciation for the continuous patronage and support towards MASwings and its services, 112 flight tickets to any MASwings’ destination is given out to lucky passengers travelling with MASwings throughout the month of October and November.
In stirring up some fun into the celebration, MASwings thanked its customers with back-to-back giveaways through participation in trivia questions and quizzes over its social media platforms.
MASwings is overwhelmed with everyone who had taken the opportunity to share their kind thoughts, wishes and fond memories they experienced flying with MASwings throughout the 12 years of its journey.
MASwings Chief Executive Officer, Aminuddin Zakaria said, “In 12 years, we have flown more than 11 million passengers and gained recognition in the Malaysia Book of Records among other accolades including recognitions from ATR aircraft and Pratt & Whitney Canada engine manufacturers.
Aminuddin further added, “Hence, the whole month celebration is also part of MASwings’ effort to give back and appreciate all the customers who have continuously supported MASwings throughout the 12 years.
It has been such a wonderful experience and journey. We thank you for all the support”.
To commemorate the celebration a mini gathering and cake cutting ceremony was held recently for the whole workforce of MASwings and Malaysia Airlines attended by MASwings CEO and other Heads of Departments at its head office.
