KOTA KINABALU : A team from the Online Travel Agency (OTA) Beelik.com paid a courtesy visit to Sabah Youth and Sports Minister Phoong Jin Sze at his office here yesterday.
The visitors comprised of Jeffrey Michael (Managing Director), Alexander Yee (Chairman), YB Aubery David and Cassie Thomas (Beelik bloggers).
According to Yee, the Minister was briefed on Beelik.com, the team, their role in the online room reservation space and future plans.
“Phoong was supportive of our efforts and hope we can work together with his ministry especially when accomodations are needed for the participants,” Yee said.
Beelik.com which went online in August last year, allows its members to browse hotel rooms all over Borneo and rates, discounts and promotions, and can make reservation directly.
The hotels on Beelik’s website are grouped by destinations for easier searching. Besides working with local hotels, Beelik also works with businesses to bring consumers and travelers the latest and best promotions and deals.
