“Most Valuable Player” award recipients with Khoo (3rd right) and KH Tan
SANDAKAN: Last Sunday’s one-day Inter Primary School 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament held at SJK (C) Cheng Min attracted the participation of eighty eight teams.
The opening ceremony of the tournament organised by Sandakan District Basketball Association (SBA), was officiated by Sabah Sports Board chairman Dr. KH Tan.
SBA chairman Datuk Edward Khoo told media the tournament was held to promote the game among schoolchildren in Sandakan and also in conjunction with the Malaysia Day celebration.
