KOTA KINABALU, 20 June – A family of four, including two children, were injured when a steamboat pot at a restaurant in Alam Mesra here exploded last night.
Sabah fire and rescue department assistant director (Operations) Misran Bisara said 16 personnel from the Lintas fire and rescue station went to the scene after they were alerted shortly after 9pm.
He said the two children had been taken to hospital by the public before the firefighters arrived.
“The two adults were given treatment by health personnel before being taken to hospital,” he said.
“The victims suffered minor injuries.”
