TAWAU : The General Operations Force (PGA) through its 14th Battalion has arrested two foreign men and seized 16 packages of various sizes containing syabu worth RM1,750 at a shared house in Ladang Benta Kapur in Kalabakan near here Friday.
Its commanding officer Supt Mustapha Othman said in a raid at about 9pm, a team from its Company A raided the house and arrested the 29 and 38-year-old men in the bedroom. Both have no valid identification.
“During the raid, both suspects tried to flee but were caught after a minor scuffle, there were no injuries,” he said.
He said a preliminary examination of the room found a transparent plastic bag containing 16 packages containing drugs believed to be syabu with an estimated weight of 11 grams.Mustapha added that the suspect and the seized item were handed over to Tawau district police headquarters for further action.
